From College Dropout' to Ph.D.: Kanye West receives honorary doctorate in Chicago this past weekend
"I am a pop artist so public opinion is my medium,"
said Mr. West during his acceptance speech.
From the man that gave us 'Jesus Walks' among other hits producer and innovator Kanye West
can now add "Doctor" to his many titles.
Kanye, who studied art at the American Academy of Art and also English at Chicago State University,
has previously spoken about receiving the honor in a French magazine.

promoting art school, this guy from Chicago saying art school is cool. So we thought, 'This man deserves an
honorary doctorate from us!' He should have gone here," Wainwright,
who reportedly sits on the committee that decides honorary degrees, said.

Miracles happen every day. After two miscarriages, actress Kim Fields
never thought having a baby would be possible at 44.
You know her from her roles as the lovable character Tootie, she played on the 80's hit television
show 'Facts of Life'. In the 90's we had a love-hate relationship with her as Regine, the gold-digging,
sassy mouthed personality on 'Living Single'.
The birth of her son Quincy was a surprise, but a happy one. Fields, who also has a 6-year-old son,
Sebastian with husband Christopher Morgan, had suffered two miscarriages in the past, and thought her baby
days were behind her and menopause on the horizon. But after she found herself feeling unwell, a doctor told
the actress that a new baby was on the way.
