which was conducted due to a recent increase in shootings and robberies in the Weston Ranch area.
While the charges against Meeks and three other men arrested in the operation are no laughing matter,
the people who posted comments on his picture on the police department's

Some women even went as far as saying,
"What was his crime? Lock me up and throw away the key!"

Tamar and Toni so they can finally finish the album.
Towanda expressed her own concerns and told cameras, “All of us girls have been tossing around
the idea that in order to really focus on a gospel and inspirational album, we all need to be in the same
city for the album to happen. But, everyone needs to be 100 percent committed…hint hint Tamar… to do it.”
Tamar told cameras that she’s all in when it comes to making the album with her four older sisters.
“The only thing that would stop me from doing it is the shenanigans. Like, I don’t want to
surround that in my life.”

In an new interview with Exhale, Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker opened up about their daughter’s
spina bifida diagnosis, a birth defect that affects the development of the spinal cord. The condition often
causes paralysis, bladder complications and other physical and developmental conditions among children.
“We went from being the hot Hollywood couple with a perfect-to-be baby to completely devastated, shocked,”said Boris . “It was something we couldn’t possibly have ever anticipated. We were helpless, we were lost. It took us quite a while to find our bearings and get used to this new norm that we were facing.
He went on to share with the show’s host that it was Sophie’s strength that helped the family pull through.
“Sophie was actually instrumental in teaching us how to do that. Her spirit, her attitude was always,
she was this little baby who was always smiling and she looked at us like, ‘Why are you crying?’” he confessed.“So we figured, okay, this is what it is. This is our norm. She doesn’t know any different and it’s up to us to prepareher and equip her for this life that’s hers and make sure that she has all options and all opportunities that anyone else would have.”
Divorce is a hard thing to overcome; especially when you are in the public eye. It is rare that we
see ex wives of ministers and gospel singers speak openly about their downfalls in front of the world.
Now with social media and all of these reality shows preacher's exes are opening up more than ever.
Most recently is gospel singer and recovering addict Wess Morgan's ex Betsy Morgan. She recently sat
down with ELEV8 to discuss her feelings after a recent post on Wess Morgan's instagram caused a stir.
Betsy Morgan: First I like to say, though I was married to him for years, I thought we had a good co-parenting relationship. Sure we had disagreements. But I thought we had a good parenting relationship. I have no desire to be with Wes Morgan whatsoever. I am not the bitter ex-wife who wants him back. I am furious, flaming, raging angry for my kids. If someone messes with my kids I am coming for you. What he did was unforgivable. I can’t comprehend how a man who is in the pulpit can do one thing and say another. I don’t understand. There’s no reasoning for it. They were treated as if they didn’t exist. I am like a momma bear over her cubs. I am just so angry.
E8: What triggered your anger. What is this all about?
Betsy Morgan: My children have had to deal with the innuendo, talk and rumors of their father’s marriage. How can a man not seek the blessing of his children when he gets married? He never talked about it . There was no clue. How his parents who are my children’s grandparents and pastors didn’t make him tell his children is beyond me. Why as an adult could he not sit down and have a discussion about it, instead of his children finding out not from him? My babies loved their dad. My children drove to see him in rehab when they were small. They had Easter Sunday egg hunts steps away from where people were in rehab to be with their dad. They supported and loved their dad. We were together in the peaks and valleys. My son just got accepted to camp and like any other young man he would love to share that with his father. He can’t. That option is not there now. Now, they are hurt. Now they don’t want to talk to him. They knew he was dating her. He lived in two house. (Editor’s note: Wess, lived outside the family house where the children grew up).
E8: What lead you to this place of being righteously angry for your children?
Betsy Morgan: Wegot calls from friends saying he was married. It’s not right for a pastor to stand in the pulpit to preach one thing and do another. I am building strong children. They are smart. I am angry for my children. It was really weak, selfish and inconsiderate for him to do things this way. Why announce you are married now? Why say you are proud now? He wasn’t proud to announce it in January when he got married. He got caught. Why wait now? Because you are starting a show? Why wait 4 months? I am sure my 17 year old daughter is doing the math. He has two 13 year olds.

E8: What next?
Betsy Morgan: We have an obligation to our children. I want to get married again. I am happily single. I want to be clearon that. You don’t do those things at expense of your children’s feelings. I have not spoken to him. They (his children) don’t want to have anything to do with him. He has reached out to them via text but they are hurt. I feel bad for her (his new wife). She has everything I left. This is a woman that he had a child with during our marriage. I refuse to be the bitter ex wife. I am so angry for my kids. I am angry that I have to pick up the pieces while he does whatever he wants. There’s history between us that makes this really sad.
Per Sandra Crouch, our dear father in the contemporary gospel music, Pastor Andrae’ Crouch, is facing some serious health challenges and was just released from the hospital last week. His music has encouraged us, helped many make a decision to give their lives to the Lord, opened doors that allowed countless artists to have careers in the gospel music industry and brought a spirit of praise and worship into millions of churches across the world regardless of denomination or race. He was there for us and now we need to be there for him with our prayers. Although we will never be able to tell him all he has meant to the body of Christ we can try by sending words of encouragement/testimonials that will speak life to his spirit. To send your message within the next 48 hours please email firstname.lastname@example.org and be a part of pouring into someone who has poured so much into us through his music.

What would you do if you were running on the treadmill and President Obama walked in
For whatever reason, video of President Obama apparently working out in the gym
of the Marriott Hotel in Warsaw, Poland has leaked.
He was in the country to reaffirm U.S. support for central and eastern European countries
against Russia. The Secret Service confirmed to The Hill that the video is real, and that other hotel
guests taking photos and videos of his workout is not a problem:
"Hotel guests were not asked to leave the gym during this off the record movement, nor were they
asked to refrain from taking pictures," agency spokesman Ed Donovan said.
Pastor Jamal Bryant, who’s catching a ton of flack for quoting a line from the Chris Brown hit song “Loyal”
this past week, The Empowerment Temple minister responded to all the criticism on Twitter, saying:
“Don’t critique a quote when you never heard message! 20 seconds of a 30 minute message is incomplete assessment Dear Family @TJMShow fell into a sensationalized quote & regrettably lent no context. Be mad whole not in part”
The quote in question was uttered by Bryant during a 30-minute sermon titled “I’m My Enemies’ Worst Nightmare.”
Despite the length of the message, attention was focused on a 40-second clip that featured Bryant using
the line “these hoes ain’t loyal.”
Since the clip’s leak, Bryant has been at the center of criticism from those questioning and wondering
why a man of God would use such language. The minister’s congregation has also endured feedback
in light of footage showing some members hollering, jumping and catching the Holy Spirit.

Usher Comes To The Defense Of Former Protégé Justin Bieber
"I gave every bit of advice and always told him it was up to him if he really wanted this.
Now that he has it, as an adult, it's his to manage. Do I turn my head in shame based off
of what I see, what I know? Nah, I don't because it's all part of life's process. Am I in it with him? Yeah."
Though he clearly isn't disappointed in Bieber, Usher did say: “It’s unfortunate. I hate some of the things
I hear. Is it all true? I don’t know. But I will tell you this: Success comes with a price. Every person that
has grown up, grows through something. It ain’t just perfect from the beginning.”

Seventy years after more than 150,000 allies stormed the beaches at Normandy, President Obama
on Friday honored the D-Day veterans who "gave so much for the survival of liberty at its maximum
peril" during World War II.
America's claim to liberty "is written in the blood on these beaches," Obama told an audience of world
leaders and decorated old soldiers. "It will endure for centuries."
Obama told the story of D-Day at the cemetery above Omaha Beach – "this sacred place of rest
for 9,387 Americans" – and said it should be "seared into the memory" of history.
After 42 Floridians came down with dangerous mosquito-borne diseases, state officials advised
citizens on Wednesday to take steps to protect themselves against bug bites.
The Florida Department of Health announced 24 confirmed cases of dengue fever as of last week,
and 18 confirmed cases of chikungunya, both viruses that do not have vaccines to prevent them
and have not typically been found in North America, the CDC says.
All Floridians infected had traveled to the Caribbean or South America, and officials believe they
may have contracted the diseases there, but epidemiologists worry that Florida mosquitos may
be spreading the illnesses, which could lead to a potential outbreak, Reuters reports.
Dengue is a potentially fatal disease and both can cause long-term problems.
“The threat is greater than I’ve seen in my lifetime,” said Walter Tabachnick, director of the
Florida Medical Entomological Laboratory in Vero Beach. “Sooner or later, our mosquitoes
will pick it up and transmit it to us. That is the imminent threat,” he said.
LGBT rights just got another big push from the president himself.
The White House on Friday issued a proclamation by President Barack Obama calling on Americans
to eliminate prejudice “everywhere it exists,” declaring June as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.
As progress spreads from State to State, as justice is delivered in the courtroom, and as more of our fellow Americans are treated with dignity and respect – our Nation becomes not only more accepting, but more equal as well,” the proclamation begins.
Obama writes that although the gay rights movement saw a massive victory this month last year
with Supreme Court’s decision to strike down a key provision of the Defense of Marriage Act, giving gay
couples married in states where it’s legal the same federal benefits that straight couples receive,
full equality is not yet here.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel put the city's schoolchildren on the hook to read a couple of million more books this summer, part of a bet on national TV to get late-night host Jimmy Fallon to visit Chicago again.
The mayor's appearance on “The Tonight Show” capped a two-day trip to New York in which Emanuel also pitched financial executives on the city's balance sheet and held a political meeting.
Emanuel agreed to be a talk show guest after Fallon met his dare of jumping into an icy Lake Michigan as part of the Polar Plunge, a March event that benefits Special Olympics. Emanuel joined Fallon in the frigid lake after challenging Chicago students to read 2 million books.

Recently on Facebook a video of a teenage girl crying and apologizing has serviced.

Last Friday night, Tyrese Gibson with the help of Afrika Fifty6 put on a benefit concert to raise awareness
and aid to the victims and their families impacted by the tragedy.
“When someone sees how much traction and attention something gets like this when you make a statement, naturally other folks are going to have the idea pop up on them,” Gibson told HipHollywood. Gibson encouraged folks to do more and be active in raising awareness.
“Lets go beyond holding up a sign from the convenience of your house. Lets gets our knees dirty, orchestrate, use your influence that God has given you to try to change the world and make a difference.”
Many celebrities came out and showed their support for the cause.

After receiving an invitation from the pastor of Praises of Zion Missonary Baptist Church, former
Clippers owner Sterling was in the 'hood' for his spiritual fix this weekend.
“I’m here to support this wonderful group,” Sterling told KNBC Channel 4 about
Praises of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor J. Benjamin Hardwick met Sterling
two weeks ago and invited him to worship with the congregation, reports KNBC.
“I want you to know, my friend, we pray for you’,” Hardwick told Sterling. Asked if she believed
that Sterling was there to improve his image, a church member said: “No, I don’t believe that. I
believe that he did the right thing by coming here.” But not everyone agreed. “I feel sorry for him
because, first of all, he’s a slum landlord. And second of all, I don’t think he really cares for people
as he should,” said another church member.
Needless to say, Sterling was mobbed for pictures as he left the church. He told NBC4 that
he thought the service was “fabulous.”
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver fined Sterling $2.5 million, banned him for life from the league
and started the process to end his ownership of the Clippers after an audio recording of Sterling
disparaging blacks became public in April.
In other news, it looks like Ms. V. Stiviano, the lady who caused all this drama has been
caught in her on fire. A video was released that caught V. talking badly about blacks!
